NEUROVERSITY
Craniosacral therapy (CST) is increasingly recommended within the neurodivergent community as a gentle, non-invasive complementary approach. Practitioners use light-touch techniques on the skull, spine, and pelvis to support the central nervous system. This may help individuals on the autistic spectrum or those with ADHD to manage stress, process sensory input, and improve emotional feeling.
When my daughter (now 17) was diagnosed with ADHD in 2021, as any parent would, I became very interested in the neurodivergent world. I quickly learned that neurodiversity is a totally natural variation and not a flaw as sometimes described. My daughter responds well to CST treatment. Having treated a few clients with ADHD I know that a truly individual approach is non-negotiable.
